In this post I wanted to tell where my art collectors get the cards with the images of the art works. I use Fine Art America that allows not only purchase prints, canvases, acrylic style decor but also order a variety of cards. Hot items now with Easter and Mother’s Day around the corner! On a top of everything Fine Art America even provided me with my own website. One of my client was wondering if these guys are reliable to order from. My answer was: absolutely YES! The quality is amazing, the shipping is super fast and if you order more than one card it comes in a cute box. I used their service myself not once already by ordering couple of my prints/cards for the friends and cards from my sister’s website and I was amazed by the quality and professional services. And what I like when ordering cards is that no matter what size is the original painting was it fits the standard card form; and, can make if not unique then almost unique small gift for somebody :0)

Holiday Season – Opening

Christmas, green, greeting card, holiday spirit, holidays, poinsettia, purple, red, watercolour
Needless to say the media and advertising is already skipping Thanksgiving and moved on to the Christmas promotion. And here I am, feeling like Holidays now.
This season I’ve committed to paint at least three Poinsettias for the Holiday cards. This painting is my first try. The challenge was to actually stay away from scarlet red ( I used to think that Poinsettias are only red and green; but this one was kind of purple-ish) ……………………………………………………………………………………………………..
I have also made a small cards out of this painting and today I actually sold one. So, this is true then, people really do feel like Holidays already :). Thank you Media!…

The original Painting is 9″x12″ Canson 140 lb watercolor paper. I have noticed that this particular brand is very good for decorative paintings or for illustrations due to its pretty smooth yet very absorbing surface.
