Cherries In The Bowl

art, berries, bowl, Cherries, Fine Art, green, kitchen, original art, realism, realistic, red, Still Life, towel, white

The summer is almost over. These bright juicy cherries reminded me about it when I was setting up the still life. Berries didn’t listen to my order and kept falling off the small bowl. But I really wanted to paint this exact bowl as I made it by hands in one of my wheel-through ceramics class. I just left the cherries along and painted still life as it is.

  1. Dear Irina,
So beautiful and sensitive work just like you!! The colors of shadows and reflection on a bowl and cherries are very fascinating. Your passion to keep a posture reminds me of Van Gogh's episode related to sun flowers. Thank you for the wonderful post.
    Kind regards, Sadami

  2. Nice painting Irina! I like you you incorporated the green in a subtle way and added some lines to bring the eye back to the subject.

  3. Leslie, Prabal, Sadami, J.O.E., Paulo, Gretchen! Thank you so much for your comments. I love reading them and more than that I love to come to your blogs and follow your art 🙂

    Thanks again,
