It is amazing how many bright and vibrant colors Nature offers to us. These miniatures ( 2.5″x3.5″ I painted mostly from the fruits and veggies from our garden here in California Bay Area) My husband grows and nurtures our garden and I feed from it physically and emotionally 🙂

  1. Dear Irina,
Oh, so lovely and cute!! How carefully you chose colors! You are so caring and sensitive. I'm sure fruits and veges are so happy to be your models. Certainly, it's your love for nature and…for your husband! (*my unit's next to appricot/peach trees. Only the shame is…fruits bats take them away.)
    Cheers, Sadami

  2. I love these minis:) Isn't it beautiful what comes out of the garden and what a wonderful way to commemorate it. I thought about painting some of our garden treasures also. Beautiful!

  3. Sounds like a wonderful collaboration between you and your husband. I think you have the fun part = painting them instead of weeding and growing them 🙂 That's a perfect red for the tomato.

  4. yes color is my food…I love how you spoke of the garden…so profound…Your work is so beautiful.I see you also do ACEO size..Ive done many..they really fit in with my busy life…To get on the showcase…just pic one of you favs..and send me the link to it and I will put you on the calendar..thats it just link up to The Showcase on that day…you can send more than one and I will put them on different days…Enjoy..!

  5. Thank you My Dear Artist; I really think we should do what we love. I've used to paint only what people wanted and that brought me to the point that I've shut down my own creativity. Now I am happy I can paint what I love; and more :I know what I'd love to paint 🙂
    Thanks,
    Irina
